Manager at Root Insurance

"Despite the risk of this coming across as mere hyperbole, I am proceeding anyway with a string of superlatives. Meg is far and away one of my favorite employees ever.

Why?

Her enthusiasm, hunger and drive are boundless. Nothing's too big or too small. She'll not only figure it out on her own but will also return with something that exceeds expectations. In the startup world, where I worked with Meg, that's priceless.

She's also one of the best team players I know. Loyal, selfless and humble, she's also always focused on the big picture without ever neglecting the details.

If you have the chance to hire her, jump on it. You'll see why I'm right right away."

"I consider myself extremely lucky to have worked with Meg. In her time at Civitas, she thrived in versatile roles while making the agency more intelligent, strategic, organized and empathetic. She is an unrelenting self starter and an engine that drives internal and client projects forward while seemingly never running out of steam. She is passionate about her work and cares deeply about organizational success by meeting and exceeding goals. She is instinctually strategic, but doesn't rely on it, she pursues data and insights to strengthen her strategic positions when presenting ideas.

It has been an honor and I very much hope to one day work alongside Meg again someday."

"Meg's attention to detail and work ethic helped our team accomplish great things in 2019. Herding cats as Creative Program Manager, she kept production schedules on track, managed vendor relationships, and added invaluable strategic input on experiential concepts, especially as they related to measurability and content marketing. After taking over the agency's external marketing efforts, she launched and maintained multiple high-polish channels, managing the production of appropriate content while wielding her own strong creative instincts with contributions to copy and art direction.

More than a sharp professional communicator, Meg is a deeply empathetic person. During a period of time when words and actions carried immense meaning, her influence at the agency helped open eyes, and hearts—making each and every person in the room better as a result. Any creative team would be lucky to have her."

"Meg was my guiding light at Root, she kept all of the projects assigned to me moving smoothly. She would set all of the projects up for success with excellent strategic planning and managing stakeholders expectations. Brainstorming with Meg was always fun and productive, she is an excellent creative partner. I highly recommend adding Meg to your team!"

Miscellaneous 360* feedback from CoverMyMeds management & peers

"I have never seen someone fill a mold as quickly as Meg has here with the Decision Support team, and then shatter that mold as she helps our team in too many ways to describe. However, whether it be user feedback, a culture session, product strategy session, or interpersonal disagreement, Meg has an amazing ability to cancel out the noise and define clear and easy to digest concepts, narratives, or steps to resolution depending on the situation. For all of the situations outlined above, I have seen Meg jump into the middle of a mess, observe all of the idiosyncrasies, and concisely summarize the situation and provide balanced recommendations."

"Meg is a great leader for our team. She goes far above and beyond her job description to further develop our team culture. She has organized two onsite culture meetings (in October 2021 and March 2022) and helped with facilitation in both. She’s also a great about making insightful product suggestions to our engineers, analysts and product people. She isn’t afraid to voice dissent in a respectful way to make sure our products are the best they can be. There was one time when the engineers made a decision about how a form should look in refinement, and Meg posted a link to a UX article in our Slack channel to help us understand that the way we had planned to tackle the form was not best practice."

"Meg goes above and beyond for the things she believes in -- and even for those that she maybe doesn't have as much passion for. I know she has a lot riding on her shoulders, and when you outperform most folks, there's this unspoken pressure to continue at that caliber for fear of failing or not being seen as valuable if you loosen the reigns a little. I know our team is rather understaffed and she's trying to fight fire with fire and just march on through the mountains of work and expectations, and I hope she can feel good about the fantastic work she does while also allowing herself space to relax and disconnect from work. As she's a major driver of this team, let's ensure that she is seen, valued, and recognized for her skill and knowledge set. She deserves it all."

"Meg is clearly passionate about her work and that passion is contagious. Her research is well thought out and her presentations are thorough and easy to understand across audiences. She's very open to feedback on her approaches and is happy to make adjustments based on that stakeholder feedback. I'm also always impressed at her willingness to work outside of normal business hours to get the job done (i.e. completing interviews at 6 PM ET) - perhaps that is an expectation as part of the job but I know it's hard nonetheless!"

"Meg has an outgoing personality and is good at building relationships with her product and engineering teams. I think this lends itself well to building trust with her partners and overall having influence over product strategy."

"I have been very impressed with how quickly Meg was comfortable with pushing back and voicing her arguments on important topics with sound logic and reasoning - and data when available. I’ve really enjoyed working with her on a few recent projects. She’s reliable and responsive and always adds value."

"She's very helpful and resourceful. I am able to go to her for almost anything and she's got the hookup. She's willing to help and lead by example of her own work which has helped me already in this role. Along with this, she's very approachable."

"Meg is really great at facilitating meetings and workshops with groups. She's excellent at "rolling with the punches" and staying calm and effective in basically any situation whether that be a group interview or team collaboration."
